Terms of Service

Last updated 27 October 2026

These terms govern the use of Metal Festivals. By browsing the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and the team behind Metal Festivals ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of Metal Festivals ("the Site"), reachable at the contact form on this site.

By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the Site.

2. About the Site

Metal Festivals is an independent, free guide to heavy metal festivals, artists, countries and subgenres around the world. We publish the information we gather from public sources and from readers who report corrections.

The Site is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may quote short extracts with a link back to the page.

3. Acceptable use

When you use the Site you agree not to:

  • use the Site in any way that breaks the law, or that infringes the rights of somebody else;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its catalogue or its infrastructure;
  • scrape, mirror or republish the catalogue in bulk as your own source;
  • interfere with the Site or its measurement systems, including by sending fake traffic.

4. Content and accuracy

Lineups, dates, venues and prices change often, and a festival can be cancelled or postponed at short notice. We do our best to keep every page accurate, but the information is provided "as is" and we cannot guarantee that it is complete, current or error-free.

Always confirm dates and details with the official source of the festival before you travel. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will fix it.

5. Intellectual property

The design, code, typography and editorial content of the Site belong to us or to our licensors. Poster images, logos, photographs and band artwork remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and editorial reference only.

Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to those rights beyond the fair use allowed by applicable law.

6. Third-party links

The Site links to official festival sites, ticket sellers, social profiles and other resources. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Following an external link is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the Site, including lost bookings, travel costs, cancelled plans or lost profits.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Site changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated, and the material changes will be announced on the Site.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is established, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction where the operator is established.

10. Contact
